  • Salina Singleton

    FOUNDER

    Salina Singleton is a Camden Native and started the Collective as a community-building initiative for Camden and the surrounding area. Salina’s background is in Digital Marketing, Web Design, Production, Audio Editing, Podcasting, Hosting, Improv, and being an all-around goof ball. “Now more than ever in my lifetime we need spaces to create laughter. Comedy is an art form and we have some of the best talent here in NJ.

  • Queen Stewart

    COMEDIAN, WRITER

    Queen Stewart has been doing stand-up comedy since 2022. Her comedy is often pulled from the pages of her life. In addition to organizing comedy shows under her company, Create Urgency®️, she has performed at Helium, Wilson's, Camden Arts Yard, and The Stress Factory. She enjoys writing and performing both stand-up and sketch comedy.

    Mike Hoover

    COMEDIAN, WRITER, PAINTER

    Michael Hoover is a South Jersey-based comedian and abstract artist whose style blends storytelling with sharp, clever punchlines. His comedy draws from real-life experiences, weaving humor into personal and relatable moments. Beyond the stage, Michael is a dedicated math teacher and a passionate painter, creating custom abstract pieces inspired by music and emotion. Whether performing stand-up or showcasing his artwork, he brings creativity, authenticity, and a touch of corny charm to everything he does.

    Theo is a Trenton native and has been performing improv for over 3 years. Theo also is a phenomenal writer and comedian.

    Born and Raised in South Jersey comedian/actor, Lil Jough brings a “bigger than life” personality to the stage! With his sharp jokes and witty humor he is quick on his feet and even quicker to the punch. You can catch him all around NJ, Philadelphia, and the Lehigh Valley!

    WRITER, ACTOR, ADMINISTRATION

    A storyteller with a sharp ear, a keen eye, and a knack for making people laugh, Emily brings creativity and precision to every project. Whether shaping narratives through audio editing—honed in radio documentaries and advertising with WHYY—or refining prose in literary magazines, she knows how to strike the perfect balance between depth and wit. A performer at heart, she infuses her work with energy, timing, and just the right amount of flair. Whether on the page, behind the mic, or in an editorial deep dive, Emily believes every story is better with a little humor.

    ACTOR, SINGER

    Noely is a storyteller from Camden, NJ. Her love for music, theater, and writing has evolved over the years but at its core, has stemmed from her passion for performing. She is in the process of finalizing her short film ‘home’, inspired from her unreleased book of poems. Stay tuned for the debut soon.   • Jim Vrobel “Jimmy V”

    COMEDIAN, ACTOR, WRITER

    Jim Vrobel, known on stage as “Jimmy V,” is a South Jersey-based comedian that started exploring stand-up in 2023. Blending witty observations with relatable stories from his everyday life, Jimmy V delivers laughs rooted in real experiences. Keeping things honest, lighthearted, and grounded—just a guy sharing stories and hoping to get a few laughs along the way.

  • Tevin Howell

    DIRECTOR, WRITER

    Tevin Howell (Writer, Director). Tevin Howell, also known as Tevin Jamier, is a South Jersey-born and raised artist, podcaster, and filmmaker. Tevin has had a love for filmmaking since he was a child, being inspired by the likes of Jordan Peele, Hayao Miyazaki, and John Singleton. Now he’s ready to bring his stories to life with the purpose of entertaining and providing a message at the same time. His most recent and acclaimed works are his “Hate It Or Love It Podcast” and his short film “Blood Money”.

    Marcos Montana is a stand-up comic, actor and writer who focuses on observational and popular culture, in addition to navigating life as a queer person. He’s performed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

  • Kevin Polanco

    COMEDIAN, WRITER, ACTOR

    Kevin Polanco is a Dominican-American comedian, writer, actor, and entrepreneur from Camden, NJ. After living in Florida for 8 years, he returned to South Jersey at 29 to focus fully on stand-up comedy and writing funny skits and content for businesses. He’s also appeared in Def Jam music videos shot in New York as an actor. Now, Kevin blends real-life stories, bold humor, and family vibes to turn everyday moments into laughs.

  • Joey Lupo

    COMEDIAN, FILMMAKER

    Joey has spent the past 10 years working in film and television, with experiences ranging from filming sharks in Hawaii to screening films in France. With both creative vision and technical expertise, he knows how to bring a project to life. More recently, he decided to pursue his lifelong passion for comedy, stepping onto the stand-up stage for the first time. Now, Joey aims to blend his two loves—film and comedy—into something truly original (and just a little demented).

  • Laquan Burroughs

    FILMMAKER, WRITER, ACTOR, MUSICIAN

    Laquan Burroughs is a New York-born and South Jersey-raised Multi-Hyphenate artist with a love for creativity. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, majoring in Radio, Television & Film with a Minor in Creative Writing, and his multiple passions have led him into all avenues of the creative field, where he mostly writes, directs, acts, and edits his own films. He has a history on the radio, doing studio shows, and working behind the scenes as a Production Coordinator for the TV station QVC. Recently, he has picked up voice acting, as well as fight choreography, and continues to learn to write his own music. He looks to build a community of creatives that can spread the love of Jesus as well as help each other to tell unique and captivating stories.

  • Jason Howard

    WRITER, COMEDIAN, DANCER

    Jason Howard is a stand-up comic and writer. As a novelist he has published two books in the science fiction/fantasy genre. As a comic he has done a lot of open mics, hosted some, ran showcases and mics, and once someone paid him $10 to perform at a comedy showcase. There were less than 15 people at the show. The show was an hour and a half drive, so when you factor in tolls and gas he actually lost money.

  • Jaclyn Romano

    WRITER, COMEDIAN

    After years of working boring office jobs, Jaclyn attended Columbia University to study creative writing and pursue her dream of getting paid to write funny stories. Since finishing her degree at Columbia, she no longer writes jokes for free– now she writes them for $80,000 in student loan debt. 

    After college, Jaclyn interned at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she decided to pursue a career writing for TV and film. 

    Jaclyn is having a great time writing for the Camden Comedy Collective’s many fun projects. Individually, she has a puppet TikTok about her weird ADHD brain and is being very brave by trying to get good at doing stand-up comedy.   • DAVID HELLER

    DANCER, WRITER, IMPRESSIONIST

    David, 44, grew up a child of the movies. He has over 300 movies memorized from beginning to end, including an uncanny ability to impersonate his favorite celebrities and people he knows.

    David also has a Masters and a PhD in Dance. He specializes in breakdancing, popping, and Liquid Dance. David loves making people smile and laugh through his impersonations and sketch comedy. His dream is to inspire others and live his best life through comedy, film, acting, and dance.

  • Bre Smiley

    BRE SMILEY

    COMEDIAN, IMPROVISOR, WRITER

    Bre Smiley is a peculiar, delicate, fashion-able, intelligent, yet playful anecdotal and observational comedienne and writer. No, she cannot pronounce peculiar.  

    She has performed in her head, at her therapists’ office, and at every job she has ever lost. She has also performed at Punchline Philly, Helium Comedy Club, City Winery, Queens, Brooklyn, and somewhere up in the Pennsylvanian mountains. Her hosting experience and bookings continue to improve and foster a strong stage presence that will shine on your stage, if the petroleum jelly on her face doesn’t shine brighter. 

    Bre Smiley is a proud graduate of some university with a bird as its mascot (no not that one) and Philadelphia Comedy College, until she finally gets the masters that she *coughs* promised mother and father. How’d you know she was an only child?

  • CORY DEELSTRA

    COMEDIAN, ACTOR, WRITER, IMPROVISOR

    "A self-aware dive into modern anxiety and the hilarity that comes with it.".  A lifelong creative (graphic designer, musician, actor, comedian), Cory Deelstra has been honing his stand-up in the clubs and rooms of New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. Having trained in Improv, Acting, and Stand-Up at The Second City in NYC, he takes comedy seriously, while realizing it’s not that serious!  Cory is also a working actor as seen on Netflix, Fox, Apple TV, Peacock, and more. Besides comedy, Cory is a graphic and web design professional with over 20 years’ experience, plays guitar and bass, and was a cast member of "A Sketch of New York,"; an off-off Broadway sketch comedy show.

  • BRENT GORDAN

    ACTOR, WRITER, IMPROVISOR

    Brent Gordon is a South Jersey resident with a resume in community theater that dates back to 2014. He thrives on collaborating with others and doing the small yet invaluable things to bring productions to life. Brent has roots in  the performing arts ranging from sketch and improv to mystery dinner theater. Always looking to land a pun or get a joke off, his light hearted spirit and cucumber cool aura is the perfect dose of silly and fun.

  • MICHEAL BEAVERS

    COMEDIAN, ACTOR, WRITER

    Michael Beavers is a writer, comedian and actor who started doing stand-up comedy in July 2021 and currently can be seen performing all over Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.  

    He came in 2nd place out of over 300 comics in Helium Comedy Club’s prestigious Philadelphia’s Phunniest Person Contest in 2023 and was also a finalist in the inaugural Harrisburg‘s Hilarious Contest that year, which basically means he's a pretty good loser. 

    Mike is a consistent Headliner on Independent Shows as a reliable closer.

    He is a former host of the Party Zone comedy open mic at the classic Philly comedy venue, Fergie’s Pub. He has started to enter the realm of acting and sketch writing and has been a part of several productions with Baby Goblin Productions and Friendly Sketch Comedy.

    Angela graduated from Rowan University in 2024 with her bachelors in Biology. As she continues to pursue jobs in her field she also likes to create in her free time. She has interests in photography, designing, and drawing. Overall, she is always open to exploring different forms of art.
